THE LAWN at WHITE RIVER STATE PARK
801 W. Washington Street
Indianapolis, Indiana

Opened in 2003 as an outdoor concert venue at White River State Park, located on the west side of downtown Indianapolis. The facilty nestles nicely with Victory Field and a row of museum facilities including the Indiana Historical Society, the NCAA Headquarters and Museum, and the Indiana State Museum and IMAX Theatre.

The origiunal concept of the concert venue was all lawn seats, no pavillion and no reserved seats. Over time the facility has since engaged in reserved folding chairs on the lawn and a reserved section in front of the stage. However, there are still plenty of opportunities to see performances with your own chair or blanket on the lawn, but bring your binoculars.
